Happy Campers...

We just wrapped up July's camping theme.  Here are a few things that we did starting with my favorite activity.  I love the activities where I get to learn something too.  We did a science experiment with pinecones and I did not know that when a pinecone is soaked in water it will close up.

 We also used pinecones to make birdfeeders...





The kids are waiting for birds to come and eat the bird seed.  The cutest part was hearing them yelling, "Biiirrddiiieee!  Come and eat!"

Volcano

Here is our little science experiment, an erupting volcano.  We mixed diet soda and salt to make the hot lava flow.
